Board no. 0035:
9' 4" X 23 1/8" X 3 1/4"
For sale at Swell House in Cape Neddick, ME.
This board was influenced by Nat Young’s Magic Sam (1966), which sparked the transition from noseriding to total involvement surfing - leading to today’s shortboards. I made some adjustments to the original template wider and thicker, with hope that this board will work even on smaller days. This is one of the first boards I’ve made featuring my homemade pigment made from rocks and goldenrod blossoms collected in Maine. The epoly construction was intentionally glassed heavy for lasting durability and transfer of weight through the flex fin.

- Flat entry with rolled mid-section to vee through fin
- Soft 60/40 rail with slight upturn in nose and downturn through tail
